Head Dog Trainer

Mark started his dog career doing kennel work at A Closer Bond in 2002. He graduated from National K-9; a school for dog trainers in Columbus OH shortly afterwards. Mark’s passion is in helping people learn how to communicate with their dog and have them develop the best relationship they can. Mark enjoys puppy development, basic obedience, and scent detection.

Mark is certified in Basic and Advanced Obedience, Tracking, Personal Protection, Police K-9, Behavior Modification, Scent Detection, Utility, Puppy Development, Assistance Dog, and Retrieval Training. When Mark is not at A Closer Bond, he enjoys coaching baseball, playing golf, and fishing with his two sons. Mark has an Australian Labradoodle named Jake Ryan.
